What is your favorite club, activity, or co-curricular? Why?
The Global Services Committee because I can make an impact on the community around me. 

What is your favorite class or who is your favorite teacher? Why?
Dr. Gillin’s Honors US History class because her style of teaching each class was incredibly engaging and always left me wanting to learn more. Through her teaching, you could tell that she’s passionate about what she does, and it created the best atmosphere in class. Dr. Gillin was always pushing me to be my best self in and outside of the classroom. 

How do you balance your academic workload with your co-curricular activities?
Sometimes it may feel like I have a lot on my plate when managing academics, sports, and extracurriculars, but anytime I’m feeling overwhelmed, I meet with my teachers! They help me manage my time and are always flexible and understanding. 

What is something you think is important for prospective families and students to know about Shipley?
All the teachers at Shipley deeply care about their students and offer support to help their students thrive in every learning environment.

Shipley has so many great resources to offer, so try everything that piques your interest!
