How and why did you get into athletics/coaching/training?
I played a variety of sports growing up and was always fascinated by movement, sports performance, and staying healthy. My passion for athletics evolved into a career in sports medicine. As an athletic trainer, I combined my love of sports with healthcare to help athletes stay active, recover from injuries, and reach their full potential.

What is your coaching/teaching/professional philosophy or style?

My philosophy is simple: stay healthy, stay active, and enjoy the sports you love. I believe that every athlete deserves the opportunity to develop their skills in a positive, injury-free environment. My goal is to support athletes as both competitors and individuals.
How would your student-athletes describe you?
Positive, caring, approachable, and motivating. I strive to build strong relationships with athletes so they feel supported both on and off the field.

What is your goal for every student-athlete at Shipley?

My goal is for every student-athlete to be healthy and confident in their athletic development. Athletes should be able to improve their abilities, enjoy their sport, and develop habits that support lifelong wellness. If injuries occur, I am committed to providing the highest level of care and support to help them recover safely and return to the activities they love.

What do you love about Shipley?

I love the sense of community at Shipley. From students and families to faculty and staff, everyone is part of a supportive and caring environment. There is a commitment to helping each individual succeed.

What’s one fun fact about you?

I am a competitive triathlete who loves racing and staying active. Whether it's swimming, cycling, or running, I enjoy challenging myself. You might see me at a local road race, on a group run, or training for my next Ironman event!
